Who wouldn’t want to experience Pottery with your Pod!? The winner (and 11 of their closest friends) will have access to a private lesson in the Academy Center of the Arts’ May Carter Pottery Studio creating lanterns with instructors Ted Batt and Anna Ellis.
Anna Ellis is a Lynchburg native who has always had a passion for the arts. She studied at VCU in Richmond Virginia. However, it wasn’t until 2009 that she took a pottery class at CVCC, and fell in love with the medium. Her work has always been inspired by her love of animals and has been in the National Juried Art Exhibition at the Academy and has won awards at the Bath County Art Festival.
Ted Batt is Director of the Visual Arts Program at the Academy Center of the Arts, which includes the management of the May Carter Pottery Studio. Ted has been working in clay for over 25 years.
Group max = 12. Time/date will be coordinated with winner and ACOA instructors. All supplies provided. Bring your own snacks & drinks and plan for a fabulous group activity to remember!
