covid-19
Our Response
We take the safety of our community seriously and are closely monitoring COVID-19 and guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the Virginia Department of Health.
As an organization, we are currently taking the following measures:
Providing for the needs of those we serve with deliveries of food, cleaning products, paper products and supplies
Limiting the acceptance of donations to only critical needs such as paper products and cleaning supplies
Limiting volunteer opportunities to only include the delivery of supplies to our families in need
Accepting on-site donations on the porch to limit the number of persons accessing the facility
Increasing the cleaning of all surfaces and high-touch areas
Not allowing members of our community to visit our facility on Magnolia Street to limit the risk of exposure for the women living at Miriam’s House
More than ever, we are committed to our mission to serve our most vulnerable, homeless neighbors. We are grateful for the support and patience of this community as we navigate this uncertain time together.
Here’s how you can help us help others during this time.

Miriam's House is a 501(c)3 non-profit that exists to end homelessness by rebuilding lives and empowering our community’s most vulnerable.
