How did you first hear about miriam’s house?

I was invited to the Miriam’s House Annual Luncheon 20 years ago and the rest is history!

Why did you choose to volunteer your time and expertise as an MH board member?

At one time my practice involved a lot of child welfare work. I was always giving out Miriam’s House’s number to families with children because I knew Miriam’s House could provide them with services to help stabilize their families. I saw firsthand the great work Miriam’s House was doing and I’m so glad to be involved with providing those services.

What are you most proud in regards to the work of MH?

I’m really proud of the expansion of services provided by Miriam’s House over the years. The fact that the majority of individuals and families served by Miriam’s House don’t return to homelessness really speaks to the work done by this organization.

What is something that you wish more people in this community knew about homelessness?

Homelessness can happen to anyone. It's important to remember that homelessness is a complex issue with many contributing factors, and it can affect people from all walks of life.

Tell us one thing most people don’t know about you?

I’m a pop culture aficionado. I’m your secret weapon on trivia night!
